That day was the BLACK DAY OF INDIAN HISTORY,
That night had no dawn!
That night a havoc attacked the TAJ HOTEL IN MUMBAI,
All were happily dinning with their friends & families!
I was standing at the corridor,
Waiting for my child to come out!
Suddenly I heard a brutal cry of my child,
I turned to see him but all in vain!
The bomb blasted & I was in great trauma,
I had lost my senses & was speechless!
My voice box had choked,
I wasn’t able to speak but that God was great he gave me the courage to save someone else’s child!
I had lost mine but decided to save someone else’s one,
Although not mine but a mother & an INDIAN can’t be quite watching her own country people in danger!
Thousands of people dead,
Everywhere just blasted bodies & blood all over!
The most beautiful part of the hotel was brutally destroyed,
Everyone just here & there to save themselves!
All in trauma of what to do & what not to,
As I entered inside the hall to save that innocent little child I was also put into evacuation!
Then suddenly thanks to god afterwards but a mighty & big & heartfelt thanks to that police team which came for our rescue,
They were the real heroes of that disastrous night!
All were just praying for help and they came as the saviors or we say angels of the god to save us,
They put their lives into risk for saving us and we had always just spoken ill about the police force!
But that day if they couldn’t have arrived we were all dead,
I am speechless & really don’t have exact words or say words also fall less to thank those martyrs who sacrificed their lives for saving us!
They were the real heroes of their lives,
Sacrifice just a 10 letter word was giving a pure example to me in front of my eyes,
Today also after 11 years when I remember that day my heart becomes too devastated imagining that brutal sight,
That day/night will always be termed as a BLACK DAY IN INDIA’S HISTORY!
A great grand salute to all the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for saving us that black night,
Words won’t describe their sacrifice & the enormous act of bravery & courage which they had showed that night!
Our country INDIA & all we all INDIANS feel too much proud to have such brave & courageous soldiers who died in that day,
INDIA will never forget the act of kindness and courage done by them
Although some people may say it was just their duty but have you ever thought about the families & children of those martyrs,
Wasn’t it their duty also to save and take care of their own families
Ever thought about them they would have also been shattered losing their most important family member!
So to conclude I would greatly thank those mothers who gave birth to these courageous soldiers & hats off to those wives & children who didn’t drop even a single tear & felt proud to have such sons & brothers & husbands & fathers!
